Paper Jamz and Big Fun at Christmas!

A couple of years ago, I met Kevin David and Tim Yates of Valley Church, West Des Moines, Iowa. They came to one of our Nashville Expressive Worship Workshops.

They really took to heart what we talked about that weekend, and Kevin has been studying my Live Music Method ever since!

So recently, when he tagged me on Facebook with a video they had made at their church of a “Big Fun” moment they’d created for one of the songs they did during the Christmas season, I knew I had to share it with all of you.

The Big Fun moment is part of what I teach when showing artists and bands how to put together a concert of songs and moments for the people watching them. As I explain in my concert graph (or set list), people who come to watch you play would like to experience some fun – so the Big Fun moment, when placed at the right time in your concert set, is exactly what they want.

I don’t know if Kevin and Tim’s “audience” was expecting exactly this, but take a look and see what fun they had with this moment! Watch Paper Jamz Carol of the Bells video on Facebook… (By the way, while you’re on my Expressive Worship Facebook page, be sure and “like” us!)
